I’ve wanted to do this for the longest time – homemade Japanese curry, and i bought a packet of Garam Masala since probably a year ago with this recipe in mind. My verdict? It is more Indian than Japanese. I guess it has to do with an overdose of Garam Masala and butter. I also definitely need to use more onions. I don’t normally like to eat carrots, but if i steam them in the pressure cooker, they become soft enough for my liking. Also, i like potatoes crispy, so what i did was boiling the diced potatoes and then baking them.

The chicken Katsu is very easy to do also. This is the baked version from Nami, the blogger who also posted the original Japanese curry recipe. I love her writing style.
