Breakfast chronicles – Tortilla wrap

This is one of my favourite breakfast recipes, because it’s easy, tasty, and relatively healthy.

Mix, roll, and pan-fry

Homemade Tortillas are far better than store bought ones, and they’re extremely simple to make. The only thing one has to be careful about is not adding too much water to end up with a very wet dough, which will be difficult to handle.

While making the Tortillas, i would air-fry some popcorn chicken. You can pick your favourite ingredients to go into the wrap, and it’s really only limited by your imagination. This is a good way to finish up leftover food.

Letturce, cheese slices, tomatoes, scrambled eggs, popcorn chicken, mini hashbrown, sliced cucumber topped with mayonnaise and spring onion. Balance the crunchy and the mushy, and it is sure to please.

For some reason, wraps have gained popularity in Singapore within the past few years. Why not make them at home yourself?
