If you have a PS/2 keyboard or mouse, don’t throw them away yet. You may still find motherboards that support PS/2 today. Also, a PS/2 to USB adapter costs merely 5.5 Yuan (S$1.10), and that’s definitely cheaper than buying a new keyboard or mouse.
It installs as a “barcode reader” without requiring driver. I tested with a mouse and it worked as expected. Anyway, for me, this is about doing my bit for saving the environment. I still have spare keyboard and mouse lying around and i will make sure they are put to use before i buy new ones. Probably never need to.
